Who I am

This website is run by Aariv under the name aariv.finance. For any privacy question or request, email aariv.finance11@gmail.com.

What this site collects

This site has no accounts, no contact forms of its own and no analytics or advertising trackers. I don't sell or share your personal data.

Some limited data is processed when you visit:

  • Hosting: the site is hosted by Hostinger, whose servers keep standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
  • Fonts: fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
  • Market ticker: the live prices are provided by a TradingView widget, which may receive your IP address and set its own cookies.
  • Market data: the charts and calendar on the homepage are served by this site, which fetches public data from Yahoo Finance, the New York Fed, the Bank of England, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics (via DBnomics), the ONS, FRED, Polymarket and Forex Factory. Your browser does not contact those services. The charting library is loaded from unpkg.com, and the research preview image is loaded from Substack.
  • Email: if you email me, I'll use your email address and message only to reply, and delete them when no longer needed.

Why and on what basis

The data above is processed on the basis of legitimate interests: delivering a secure, working website and responding to messages you send.

Cookies

This site doesn't set its own cookies. The TradingView market widget embedded on the site may set cookies under their own policies.

Third-party policies

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018) you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data held about you, and to object to or restrict how it's used. To make a request, email me.

If you're unhappy with how your data has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

I'll update this policy if the way the site handles data changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
